Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines govern your use of the Lawnchair Sports mobile application (the "App"), operated by Lawnchair LLC. By using the App, you agree to follow them. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users, and violations may result in content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban.
Fair Play
Lawnchair Sports is built on fair, honest competition. Please:
- Play contests honestly and in good faith
- Don't use bots, scripts, or automated tools
- Don't exploit bugs or glitches for an unfair advantage
- Don't collude with others to manipulate contest outcomes
We monitor for suspicious activity. If we detect cheating or manipulation, your account may be suspended or banned without warning.
Account Integrity
- Use accurate information when creating your account
- Don't impersonate other people, celebrities, athletes, or brands
- Don't create misleading usernames or profiles, or multiple accounts to evade rules or bans
Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Objectionable content — offensive, hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit language, including in your username, display name, contest names, or entry names.
- Abuse of others — harassing, bullying, or threatening other users.
- Illegal activity — anything that violates local, state, or federal law.
- Security violations — attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App.
How We Keep the Community Safe
The App gives you tools to protect yourself and flag problems:
- Report — flag objectionable content or another user from within the App.
- Block — block a user to stop seeing their content and prevent them from contacting or inviting you.
We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior and act on them within 24 hours by removing the offending content and/or suspending or terminating the responsible account. Reports are handled confidentially to the extent reasonably possible.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. We may skip straight to a ban for serious violations such as objectionable content, harassment, cheating, illegal activity, or security breaches.
Appeals
If you believe action was taken in error, email support@lawnchairsports.app with your username and details. We review appeals within 3–5 business days; all decisions are final.
